Hania Aamir channels ‘Emily in Paris’ with hilariously bad French

Now we know why he got a “D” in French.

Actress Hania Aamir channeled her inner “Emily Cooper” from Emily in Paris by trying out some French phrases, but ended up speaking Spanish with a little Italian on the side.

The Mere Humsafar star was up to her usual playful antics during an elevator ride with boyfriend Kashif K Afridi. Hania shared the reel on her Instagram with the caption:

Emily in Paris season 4. I got a D in French, that must mean something.

It’s easy to see why Chania got a “D” in French class because “por favor” is actually Spanish for “please.”

The hilarious fail even caught the attention of Indian rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia aka Badshah, who commented on the Mere Humsafar star’s Instagram post. Hania Aamir acknowledged her little gaffe as she replied, “Thora Spanish bhi (a little Spanish too)” with a clown emoji at the end.

Emily in Paris is a popular American rom-com series on Netflix created by Darren Star. The show is set in Paris, France as it follows Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, an aspiring marketing executive who moves to France to provide an American perspective to a French marketing firm.

Hania Aamir is one of the biggest names in the Pakistani showbiz industry due to her incredible performance in her consecutive hit projects. From Sang-e-Mah to Mere Humsafar, she never let us down and wowed us in her recent film Parde Mein Rehne Do opposite Ali Rehman.
