Peshawar authorities have taken action against the attack on the factory market

PESHAWAR: The Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar, along with officials of the Peshawar Development Authority, conducted a joint operation to remove illegal encroachments and constructions outside Karkhano Market, the largest commercial center in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The operation was carried out using heavy machinery and a large police presence was deployed to prevent any incidents.

It is important to note that this was the second business of its kind to hit the market in recent weeks.

Further, the Deputy Commissioner said that the campaign against encroachments will continue and those who rebuild them will face strict action.

Earlier, the authorities took action against encroachers at Nauthia Bazaar in Karkhano market where vehicles were parked at several places on the road, creating problems for both traffic and pedestrians.

However, it was reported that the situation was still the same and carts were seen on the streets and footpaths.
