The Sindh government has announced new timings for private schools due to the prevailing cold weather that has gripped almost all the districts of the province.
According to an official notification of the Directorate of Inspection & Registration of Private Institutions Sindh (DIRPIS), private schools will open at 8:30 am. These schedules will remain in effect until March 31.

The entire country experienced record events this winter season. The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has communicated new times and dress codes for schools. Punjab also changed the dress code for schools.
The new timings for public and private schools in Islamabad came into effect on January 11 and will remain in effect until further orders. Single-shift institutes run from 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and close at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Morning shifts in double shift institutes run from 8am. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Schools close at 12:30 on Fridays. Evening shifts in double shift institutes operate from 1.30pm to 7.00pm Monday to Thursday. It starts at 14:30 on Friday.
Meanwhile, FDE and Punjab School Education Department (SED) also allowed students to wear any sweater, jacket, coat, jacket, cap, socks and shoes to stay warm and protect themselves from the cold weather.
