The United Arab Emirates (UAE) topped all other countries in a global ranking of technical and vocational education and training in 2022.
Emirates dominated the aforementioned category in the Global Knowledge Index 2022, a joint effort of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and the United Nations Development Programme.
According to details, around 132 countries were examined in terms of education, creativity, knowledge, economy, technology and research and development (R&D).
Via Twitter, the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the UAE, Dr. Anwar Gargash, expressed his joy over the achievement.

The Director General (DG) of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Center of Abu Dhabi, Dr. Mubarak Al Shamsi, said the achievement demonstrates the UAE’s massive investment in training and vocational education.
The UAE ranked 25th globally in the overall index and remained the best performing country in the Arab world. The United States (US) secured first place, followed by Switzerland, Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands. Three more Gulf countries made the top 50, with Qatar in 37th, Saudi Arabia in 43rd and Kuwait in 47th.
