Private Schools were ordered to give pick and drop to student

The Lahore district civil administration has decided to go after private educational institutions for not providing basic facilities to students despite charging exorbitant fees.

According to details, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore Muhammad Ali has instructed private schools in the city to arrange buses to pick up the students.

DC Lahore has warned to impose heavy fines on private schools that will not comply with these guidelines. It has issued show cause notices to owners of 10 private schools.

The DC directed the private schools to arrange transport buses within 30 days. Otherwise, they will face a fine of Rs. 20,000 per day until the transfer service is arranged.

The decision was taken on advice from the Water and Environment Committee as part of an anti-smog campaign.The shuttle service is essential for students as it provides a reliable and safe way to get to and from schools.
